If you are familiar with Cobra Starship, you may be familiar with their former keytarist Elisa Schwartz, aka Elisa Jordana...and the fact that it was not an amicable split. Just as well as she didn't fit in and now is working on her own terms. Though God bless her, she still credits them as an influence along with Debbie Gibson, Madonna and Britney Spears, to name a few. This girl needs more love! She is one of my favorite new pop artists of the past couple of years, along with the recent success Lady GaGa, who, as a brief description of Elisa, is basically in the same boat musically. The energy, the party vibe, the keyboard-driven electronic hip-hop flavored wicked wit & sense of humor which is sometimes so intense that it can seem nonsensical. It's all about having FUN. They've both even worked with Colby O'Donis! Elisa is still on the rise. Her song "The Dark Side Of The City" was recently featured on MTV's The Real World.

Thanks for posting these. I can't say I've heard anything by her before.
